a. Mathematics as search activity patterns and relationships
Guidelines for teachers and students in learning mathematics are:
1) the opportunity to conduct discovery and investigation of patterns to determine the mathematical relationship,
2) the opportunity to perform mathematical experiments in various ways,
3) the opportunity to discover the sequence, differences, comparison, grouping, in mathematics,
b. Mathematics as a creativity that requires imagination, intuition and invention
Guidelines for teachers and students in learning mathematics are:
1) have the initiative to search for mathematical problem solving,
2) have the curiosity, the desire to ask, the ability denied and the ability estimates,
3) appreciate the unexpected discovery as it is useful,
4) trying to find the structure and design of mathematics,
5) appreciate the discovery of other students,
d. Mathematics as a tool to communicate
Guidelines for teachers and students in learning mathematics are:
1) attempted to identify and describe the properties of mathematics,
2) trying to make examples of mathematical problem itself,
3) know the reasons why students need to learn mathematics,
How To Students Like Math?
1. Students liked the math if the student has the desire to learn
For that try to do the following:
1) learn mathematics with pleasure,
2) recognize what students know and do not know
2. If students like mathematics, students must have the courage to learn mathematics independently
For that try to do the following:
1) students should be confident in learning mathematics
2) students use the experience gained in everyday life
3) to learn mathematics
3. In order for students like mathematics, students need to find a friend to learning together
For that try to do the following:
1) study group will practice skills in collaboration
2) learning groups provide an opportunity to exchange ideas
